I guess the NHL didn't like the Vote for Rory campaign, as they kept the write-in names short - i.e. no Sean Avery or Steve Downie in the drop-down menu - and allowed only one write-in per conference - how can I choose between Antropov and Price. And that is even before the NHL manipulates the balloting.

He's a rookie instead of a journeyman, but I nominate Tobias Enstrom.
Think about it. The East doesn't have any superstar blueliners anyway, and Enstrom is leading the East in rookie scoring even though h's a defenseman. He's tops in ice-time for rookies and he's a +4 on a weak backline in Atlanta.

Kaberle. Markov. Chara. I don't need to go on.
There's a difference between good defensemen and superstar defensemen, and Chara hasn't been a superstar since he left Ottawa.
Markov and Kaberle are fine, but they don't have the star power of a Lidstrom or Pronger.
Ah, the good ol' suits at the NHL, always innovating. Who can be bothered to type all those letters for a write-in vote when it can be replaced with a pre-filled drop down box. Pre-filled write-in votes...genius!
PS - 10 NY Ranger "write-ins", 0 NY Islander "write-ins". You mean to tell me Colton Orr and Ryan Hollweg are better than Mike Comrie??
Mike Richards!!!
Who cannot like this guy? He scores on the power play and penalty kill, fights, gives assists, leads a Flyers team that has come up from the dead. He's the future captain of the Philadelphia Flyers and he's an all around great guy.
Yould be nuts not to vote for Mike Richards.

What are you talking about? Comrie is there, as well as Bergenheim, Bergeron, Campoli, Fedotenko, Gervais, Hilbert, Hunter, Martinek, Park, Satan, Sillinger, Sutton, Vasicek and Witt. That's 15. Way more than 0.
