Domi calls NHL proposal unacceptable

Maple Leaf pugilist Tie Domi isn't too happy with the league's counter-offer.

"The players are really insulted, especially the star players like Fedorov, Brodeur and Sundin," said Domi, who has yet to crack that elusive 30-point mark. "These are the guys who are supposed to sell the game. It's a real slap in the face for these guys especially. They're really upset about it. They may not say that on camera, but they're really insulted, just like everybody else."

It's not a problem, however, as the NHL isn't giddy over the fact that this hammerhead is worth $2-mil a season. They'll agree to disagree, and Domi will continue to have fun driving his red Ferrari Spider around downtown Toronto. We're all winners here.
